Embrace The Suck

The term "Embrace The Suck" means that while the current situation may suck, you have to embrace it and move forward to complete your mission/task, To confront things that make you uncomfortable. I know most of us would rather be on the beach with rainbows and unicorns, deep inside our happy place, but reality kicks in, sometime in your life you will be in comfortable situations, that you have to endure and overcome to get to the next level. Even in the gym, you have to do workouts but rather have a Netflix and chill night, rather eat a pizza than drink a protein shake. Embracing the suck is a good attitude to have, and is helpful for any kind of self-improvement.

Change your situation

You cant embrace the suck if your accepting your current situation for what it is "The new normal" Embracing the suck is a process of action and realization. Without action, you will be more unhappy than before.

Be comfortable being uncomfortable

Embrace the suck during different points of your life. The only way to get to the next level, is to go around that obstacle, over and under, and it will not be easy, it will suck, if things were easy, everyone will do it. It will take critical thinking and soul searching.

Remember Your Goal

Remember your goal, there will be times when you may think to yourself "F#ck This Sh@t" and have self-doubt about whether it its worth it or not. You need to remember that in this situation, that the end game justifies embracing the suck. Remember your reason for pursuing those goals.

Body Language

Be the person that you envision at the end of your journey, trick your mind that you completed your mission. Stand up straight, head up high, adopt the Warrior demeanor that contradicts the negativity that you may feel while embracing the suck. avoid saying negative words, words are energy and cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life. What you not changing, you also choosing. You have control over your attitude, and you can choose to make this either worse for yourself or more positive by adjusting your thought process and your posture.

Dont Sweat mistakes

When you embrace the suck, in pursuit of a goal, there will be mistakes, if it can happen, it will happen. Instead of focusing on failure, focus on solutions. Get up, dust off, reload, recalibrate, reengage, go on the attack, and get after it.
