Fill Your Cup Friday

You may ask, what does it mean to fill your cup? To fill your cup means to replenish the mental, emotional, and physical energy that has been drained. It means that you need to stop and recharge those batteries of yours. Having a full cup means that we have made our physical, spiritual, and emotional needs a priority. When our cup is overflowing, we are well-rested, well-nourished, and full of energy. We have taken the time to fulfill our emotional and spiritual needs. When you make time for self-care, your cup is full and you have the energy to do the things that you love. If your self-care cup is empty, you won't have the energy for the everyday demands of life. You are more productive when self-care is applied. Here are a few tips to fill your cup:

Turn Off Your Tech

Turning off your technology may enhance social connections, unplugging allows us to connect with others on a deeper level level and engage in activities that promote social interactions. Increase mindfulness, by disconnecting from technology, which allows us to live in the present, because being in the present is a gift, and allows us to appreciate the world around us.

A Routine Change

By changing up your routine a bit, and modifying your schedule, you may experience less burnout and have more positive experiences in the day-to-day life. When your just follow the same routine every day, it does not leave much room for creative thought, and thinking outside the box. Breaking out of your routine can help you look at things through a clear lens. You may gain a fresh perspective on problem-solving.

Me Time

Me time is your time, it is tailored and made by you for you, it can be achieved through having a bubble bath while listening to your favorite tunes, reading a book, going for a walk, yoga, or getting a pedicure, and any other activities you can think of, as long as your alone with your thoughts and undertaking mindfulness during any activity, then your successfully spending some quality ME time.

Keep A Journal

By keeping a journal, write down your thoughts, ideas, and dreams. Revisit what you journaled, and revise it, this is a great opportunity to get your creative juices flowing and maybe...just maybe, discover your true passion.

Closing Thoughts

Your not being a selfish narcissist by putting your needs first, you are taking better care of yourself and the people around you when you have a full cup and a happy heart. Enjoy your weekend my fellow warriors!

Purpose Driven Warriors

Purpose-driven warriors are those who are driven by a sense of purpose and who align their personal and career goals with a higher purpose. These warriors can inspire others to achieve great things, create a positive impact on society, and ultimately achieve long-term success. A purpose-driven warrior knows no boundaries or failures too big to handle and pursues their dreams and goals no matter what. There are things that purpose-driven warriors do: Positive Outcome Focus To become a purpose-driven warrior, the primary focus must be on the positive outcome, the outcome that you're trying to receive, instead of any potential negative outcomes. Practicing this technique will push any negatives to the back burner. Failure is your Friend Failure can be an obstacle to success, failure is not permanent, you fall down, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward, just reflect and learn from these life experiences. Self-Awareness Being self-aware will give you an outward perspective on your...
